Editing

In addition to editing for literary magazines and small presses, I’ve edited a few anthologies. Want to know more about those projects? Click on any of the links in the pull-down menu under “Editing.”

In the meantime, here’s a bonus diagram about the differences between revising, editing, and teaching.

Revising is what happens when a writer works on her own manuscript. Teaching is what happens when you work with a writer on her manuscript (“Teach the writer, don’t fix the writing,” as the old saying goes). Editing is what you call it when you work with a writer *and* her manuscript.
